Welcome to my personal blog—this is where I originally set out to store my personal musings and day to day progress, and it’s seen several phases of my life since.

I did my undergrad in 3 years at Columbia (studied CS), and during college, my interests and work experience mostly revolved around math and quant trading. After graduating, I found myself in the AI/startup space instead. From 2021 to 2022, I was an AI grad student at Stanford (eventually dropped out), and from 2022 to 2023, I worked on a Neo-backed startup with three of my good friends—we pivoted around many ideas, with a particularly heavy focus on what gen-AI could enable in the early days of GPT hype. Post-startup, funnily enough, I found myself back in quant trading at Citadel Securities—first trading Block single stock options, then semisystematic options.

Currently I’m on a 15-month noncompete, which I’ve been spending fly fishing, starting with two and a half months in Hokkaido. I post noncompete logs here, and fishing videos on YouTube as adubsgonefishing.
